Hiya, my name is Ted, a.k.a. 'Doad' also. Nice to meet everyone. I'll also let some people know. I like seeing something like this that will have some people on it that are closer to my home! I am a member of a few other sites, but none of them are within 200 miles of here. lol.

Hi Kezza and welcome! I am almost 52 now and have been building and working on guitars for almost 20 years and if working on guitars is what you want to do then you should absolutely do it. What guitar course are you planning on taking? If you are going into repair work you will need to give yourself time for the learning curve.
